My brother filled our shared tag this past Monday morning!! I had a couple chances the first week of the season, but neither panned out.

Congrats... any elk is a good elk! They are just too hard to find and kill any more, in my estimation.

Herd sizes in our GHA are pretty good, actually I'd say the best they've ever been!! Of 5 tags that are held by friends & family, 4 are filled, only one to go & we have till the end of October (landowners tag)!! It's been a great fall so far!!

Buddy with the landowners tag bagged one last night!! Smaller than mine, but he'll be good eating...a great end to a great elk hunt this year!!
