Find a place where there are bears . Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. I called the ZEC.They were nice enough to suggest two general areas. They told me that they don't get many bear hunters-I believe last year they only had four hunters.I booked a cabin by a lake for the last week of June. The cabin will be within easy access to the baiting area. Also bought a Garmin GPS.

Try to find a place between water, cover and what they are likely feeding on at that time. Really it's kind of like setting up a deer stand except bears really don't like being in the open unless their food source is there. Also look for sign in the area. Natural choke points are good locations also. Like a area between to lakes. In your other post you said you would be able to bait for two weeks. That is a short time to establish a bait station. Good luck in getting your bear.
