Yo, I was chatting with an amigo who hunted with Cy Ford out of Kemano for grizzly about twenty years ago and we were wondering if the man is still in the outfitting business. I believe that he used to live in Fort St. James during the off season. ??? Thanks for any information.

I run the lodge on Redfern River on the east end of Eutsuk Lake that Cy used to work at when it was owned by David Packard, of HP fame. I heard that one of Cy's clients wounded a grizzly and when Cy followed it up , it killed him. I think this was in 2003 . I also believe that Cy was in his 70's if that means anything.
