Is there a public gun range in Smithers with a decent place to check zero on rifles?

I was in Smithers last year, and I think someone mentioned a shooting range.

No idea about the details.

ALF lives in that area, may be send him a PM.

Larry,
The Smithers range may be public but it seems a key is needed for access. Would your hosts have the key or could they obtain one ?
Alternatively, if you are driving out of town it's likely you could set up your own targets at some suitable point off the road, depending on the distance you want to shoot at. There are many small holdings around Smithers but also a lot of empty space. Finding a safe spot should not be too difficult.

Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.

For Pete's sake just email or call the range people.

This is not rocket science. Rural area and small population..... need a contact/range member.

You guys act like you have to be spoon fed sometimes.
