Firstly happy new to you all.

Secondly I looking for an outfitter to hunt with in Spring 2016 with guests and then send guest/clients to after that.

I'm looking for someone who can take 2-4 hunters, do airport transfers, nice lodge type accom, and is honest and reliable, with a good taxidermist they can recommend. Majority of the hunters will be from Europe.

The 2016 hunt needs to be a spring based one as the guests with me are limited to this time scale but from then on can do a fall hunt schedule aswell.

Any recommendations ?

Regards

If you go to Vancouver Island, you can each take two Black Bear and two Cougar. In the spring.
Or chicotin hillbilly has good success.

Hi Cesma,

Canada is a very big place with many many good places to hunt black bear. Its hard to know where to start with a recommendation! Do you know what kind of hunting experience you and your clients would be looking for? ie. wilderness (horseback), spot and stalk, tree stand over bait, hound dogs, etc?? Also, how important is trophy size?

Spring is generally the most productive time to hunt black bears anyway, so that works well. May/June are typically the prime months so hopefully that is what you had in mind.

Cheers
Canuck

Thanks for the replies and PM's.

Regarding where in Canada, I'd prefer the East coast as flights from Europe are cheaper than getting to the West coast.

Trophy size isn't a major issue, and majority of hunters will prefer spot and stalk.

I have some good offers already and will look into those but welcome new ones.

Many thanks for everyones help
