Moose hunt recommendation

I would like to book a Canada moose hunt in 2024. One on one preferred. I can’t afford a $20k plus Alaska Yukon hunt and don’t need big antlers as I am pretty well out of wall space anyway. A decent bull, or even a good cow moose, would suffice. I do want a hunt where the probabilities are very good. I turn 75 in a few weeks so steep mountain climbs are likely out but I walk 3 to 5 miles 3 to 4 times a week and stay in reasonably good shape. I live in Florida. I would greatly appreciate recommendations from persons who have first hand experience with the outfitter recommended. Thanks

Cass

Newfoundland. So many good outfitters, high success rates. I only did a father/son hunt once, I think it was called Lake Douglas. Son killed a nice 13 point on the second day. It was a drive in hunt.

Given your hunt specifications and your location I agree, Newfoundland is where you should focus your attention.

Yes! Newfoundland. You can shoot a bull or a cow.

I'm also looking to hunt Moose in Canada in the future. A couple of my clients from the US recommended Deep Country Lodge https://biggamehuntingnewfoundland.com/wp/

Their hunts are running at around $12,500 for a 7 day hunt all inclusive.

I have also been looking at Alberta. Any recommendations would be great.

With kind regards
Mike
