Good day to catch up on all the chores I've been neglecting. We're not quite as patriotic as the Yanks. Smiler

Ya, apparently it doesn't rate around here, but I am sure you will see Old Glory and fireworks on the front page of the forum come Monday. Wink

"The Salmon Arm Salute", refers to an event in 1982 when the Prime Minister of Canada rode his private train car through the BC town of Salmon Arm and gave a few protesters the middle finger. Just the sort of thing that Trumph would gleefully do today.

The difference was that the Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau, was a Liberal and he was our present Prime Ministers father.
By any standard old Pierre was an elitist with the concentration span of a humming bird. He was very contriversial.

But, the Salmon arm incident was 34 years ago! Get over it! A lot has changed since then.

Lets get with the program. Eh! Brian

Love to get on with the program , but have a very strange feeling that Justin will go down in history books as even a worse Prime Minster than his father . BOOM

Guys, next year on June 30, send DRG/Don a PM and I'll bet he'll put up your beautiful maple leaf. I've only been to or over BC, but dear God, it is beautiful.

Bill, Nice idea.
My wife and I are very grateful to be born and able to raise our family in this country.
Just for fun I should tell you that I live a few miles from where the movie, The Unfinished life, was filmed. You can see Kamloops Lake in the background, at one point in the movie. Brian
