My two sons and I are heading to northern Alberta next Sunday for spring bear and wolf. My oldest son has digital camo from his time in the Marines he would like to wear. Does Canada have any restrictions on Military Camo for hunting??

No French military camo allowed, cause even the bears die of laughter. Big Grin Big Grin Had to get that in. No restrictions and you don't even have to wear red, but I believe camo is vastly oversold.

To your question, no there is no restriction on what you wear.

But camo is utterly not required for hunting bears. It's easy to stalk a feeding black bear to within 30 yards. Just move carefully, when the bear has his head down and pay attention to the wind.

Good luck on your hunt.

And if you're in a tree stand, over a bait, you could be naked, but bring lot's of bug repellant. Big Grin

Good luck on your hunt.
