FYI, that boar had just bred a sow. He was still standing over her when I shot him.

He went 6'10" nose to tail, squared 6'7" and the skull green scored at 20-1/2". But it got messed up; over-cooked in the cleaning process, split the bones on the side of the skull and it shrunk all the way down to 19-3/4". Because of that experience I will never allow anyone else to do my bear skulls (God willing that I get another big one).

Shot this bull right before dark, Oct. 4 2003. My buddy, who can work a call pretty good called this guy out. Shot him at 40 yards, all broadside shots with 225gr Nosler Parts out of my .338WM (4 shots).
Each time I hit him he just stepped forward and kept looking at us. So I kept shooting; dead on his feet after the first shot of course.
Rack was just under 50".
