vegard_dinoSelf guided trip...Some help needed
Hello all.
Self guided trips are far from easy. But, they can be very interesting. So, can a non US/Canadian citizen do a self guided hunt for moose and caribou in Canada, Yukon, area?
Any tip on outfitters and so are great.
Thans for looking

David FoxI do believe the answer to your question is no.
The only province that would possibly let you hunt moose without a guide is Ontario. I know that a U.S. citizen can hunt moose with out a guide there, but I believe they have to buy the tag through an outfitter/lodge. Through out the rest of Canada, though, you would have to employ the services of a guide.Knute

Watson Lakeit is not possible to do a self guided hunt for non residents in the Yukon.
Although a Yukon resident can guide a non resident Canadian once every three years.
