I'm getting the jitters with just a few days away from my anticipated departure into the mountains. I have but one request: "Can it please stop raining?" I have to cross a river, see, and I noticed other rivers being a tad on the high side, and it has rained a lot since. The peaks have been dusted with snow too, heck I was *in* it, last week while scouting....would that bring the sheep down a bit? I need a few more of those freeze-dried meals, and a last minute check of the rifle.... Off Monday afternoon, unless it is POURING, then I might postpone to Tuesday morning hoping for a dry start. Frans, I am heading up to Chetwynd on Sunday morning and apperently it is pretty wet there too. Just a thought, Maybe we could get a bunch of the blowhards on the AR baords to visit our hunting areas and what with the wind and hot air,we would be in fine shape in no time. derf | |||
