I am looking for a quality outfitter in Alberta for whitetail. The hunt would be for this 2006 season. I would prefer the Lac labish...Slave Lake..Cold lake area. But would surely consider others. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oldguns,

I hunted with Ken Nowicki this fall, in southern Alberta. River bottoms, coulees, prairies, quite different from the areas you mention. This outfit just started up in 2005, they got 100% on whitetails and mule deer in the first year. You'd be hunting the Blood First Nations reservation in Southern Alberta. For sheer numbers of deer it will be hard to beat this area. I'm anxious to see what kind of quality deer they produce this year...

Would you consider a Manitoba Hunt? If so, e-mail me and I will give you more info. Thanks.

Try Birchcreek Outfitters in Peace River, Alberta. They are located northwest of Slave Lake. They are great people.

Hope this helps.

For an Alberta deer hunt, go with Ron Nemetchek in Athabasca.....lots of big deer, good camp, good success on good deer. www.northriveroutfitting.com

As Rackmastr advised Ron Nemetchek has a very good operation with solid areas...My friends and I have hunted with Ron the last three years...very good opportunity to take a 150 class Whitetail...and always the possibility to see a Monster...they are there!

If you pull up the Website, Rackmastr provided the link, you will see my ugly mug with the big Muley at the bottom of the page...

Any questions, please feel free to ask...Good luck in your choice...I love Alberta! big, big deer...
