This guy was near Fort Nelson, not white like yours but pretty darn blonde for the area.
I saw one that might have been slightly overall whiter as the legs only had a hint of darker color than the body. This was in the south-east corner of British Columbia near the Canadian "Top of the World" Provincial Park and I've carried the memory for over 40 years. I've always thought I was blessed to have seen it. Thanks for posting...

Yes, we felt quite blessed as well. My buddy actually had a black bear tag in his pocket but elected to just enjoy the moment. We watched the bear for close to an hour. It was pretty cool!
