Got this guy last week in the Chilcotin region of B.C. 135 lbs with an empty belly. We cut the track at about 8:30 a.m. and let the dogs out on it. Had him in the tree at about 11:30 a.m. He jumped before we got there and got in a battle with the dogs on the ground, one had him by the back leg and two were trying to get it by the throat. A couple of the hounds got scratched up, but nothing serious. Beautiful cat. I shot him with my dad's 30/30.

WOW that is a prize of a lifetime...

I have never hunted cats I'm thinking it is time to start...

If I ever get out after them I already know what rifle I am taking my single shot T/C Contender carbine with either a 18" 10mm barrel or a 14" 45 Colt barrel.
