I'm looking for a QUALITY whitetail outfitter in Sask. for '07.I'm looking for a well established company with lots of private land that hasn't been overhunted.
My idea of a good Sask buck is 150" a great one over 170".
Send me a PM with the info and I'll respond.

cats,I think you are asking for too much.Mostly because whitetail hunting has been and still is too competitive.I get the feeling that bagging a deer that size today is a real prevlidge. But I am not an experienced deer hunter.

I disagree shootaway, you should be able to find that no problem cats. Though I can't recommend one off the top of my head as we usually hunt with relatives (on public and private land).150" where I hunt is a "good" mature buck with the odd 170+ buck taken each year.

I seen more quality bucks this season than i have for probably 25 years. We have had a run of mild winters, add in the crop left out from bad harvest weather equals a healthy population.
The 140 class might not be too hard to fill, but
170 class wont come easy unless your packin lady luck.

Have hunted in saskaychewan for a number of years.I hav taken a number of bucks in the 145-155 class my best being a 162 5/8" Drop tine.I researched this province for many years before choosing an outfitter.Once i made my choice i was not disapointed.Lots & Lots of 140-150 class with160-`70-180 deer taken every year. The outfitter website is http://www.baitmaster.net.Contact Brian & Sylvia Hoffart [tell them doug sent ya]You will not be disapointed.Muzzleloader in oct runs about 4500.i think a rifle hunt in Nov runs about 5200.

Go to Alberta and do a hunt up north and you'll have the same luck as in Sask or possibly better. IF you're set on Sask, then no prob, but the outfit that I would spend my money on is in Alberta and is North River Outfitting ran by Ron Nemetchek. He kills plenty of 150 class deer with a handful each year over 170 and a few in the 180-200 range each year. The hunts are either private land or on public 'bush' country out of good heated blinds and you often see several good deer on a trip.

Cats:
I reccomend Greg Simoneau (Simoneau's Outfitting) in Mistatim, Sask. 306-889-4460. Suggest that, if interested, you talk to him early. He books up very quickly.
