Where is the best place to Muskox hunt and how much does it run these days.I heard you can still shoot two also.I wonder if your in Alaska where would you fly out of from Fairbanks?I could drive to Whitehorse I guess and fly from there.

Best place for big muskox (barren ground) is Kugluktuk (Coppermine). There are more record class bulls taken from there, than anywhere else. Hunt there with THE best outfitter in the region is $6995.
I work closely with this outfit. There are other areas that are good if you are just wanting to take a good representative and some are a bit less expensive. But be aware that there are two different sub-species...the barren ground (larger) and the Greenland species.
