It's a pretty spectacular place to spend time, no roads, need a 3hr ocean trip or a bush plane to access it. "Expansive" doesn't do it justice, as just my home province of British Columbia is just shy of the size of South Africa, and it's one of ten provinces and three territories in the country. BC is bigger than Washington, Oregon, and California combined and could take a chunk of Idaho too, but with 10% of the population.

Feel pretty lucky to "work" here, it's now the largest protected tract of temperate rainforest in the world as well, the Great Bear Rainforest. That could spell trouble for my operation long term, the protected bit, but we're still allowed to hunt at present with 5,300 sq kms / 2,100 sq miles of wilderness.
