So, I just finished an African hunt and am looking for a top shelf taxidermist in BC or the Vancouver area specifically to handle the taxidermy work and importation of a CITES I animal. Anyone have any recommendations?

Frank Gilbert at Fur and Feathers will look after you. A great guy and does great work.

I am usng Odd Aasland out of Cranbrook for my grizzly and balck bears. I dropped by his shop on the way home and he had a lot of nice stuff to look at. A great guy too.

I recommend Dakota taxidermy. The are based out of of ND and Sparwood BC. Brian and his crew do some really nice work and he know his way around the permitting etc. Ships a lot of trophies back across the line to the US.

I can second Dakota. They did a fine job on a moose a few years ago.
