I am taking hunting rifles back to Canada that was registered with Canadian customs in 96 I have one paper that they gave me at the border that I signed in front of them. My question should I get three new copys off line and just present them at the border or will the one from 1996 be enough ? Thanks Bill

Bill, This is what the form itself says: "If you are returning to Canada with the same firearms as those listed on this declaration form, you may use the form again. If you are returning to Canada with different firearms, you may still use the declaration form; however, please obtain and complete a new copy of the Non-Resident Firearm Declaration." BUT...better safe than sorry. You will have to check into customs and pay the fee regardless. If it was me, to save time I would fill out a new form in triplicate but also bring along the form you have. Then Canadian customs can decide which one(s) to use. Also, be sure to bring along a US #4457 form to bring them back into the states with less hassle. -TONY Tony Mandile - Author "How To Hunt Coues Deer"
