The mighty has fallen. The Trudeau bloodline is back in the Prime Minister's office and there are no Canadian teams in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Guess if you're like me who doesn't see any benefits in professional sports, where most of the players are over paid and foreign, teams are owned by multi, multi millionaires, sucking on the public teat, who gives a fuck. Big Grin

Pretty good coming from guys who have had Obama for two terms. LOL

That said, Trudeau is going to cause much pain........ just like his arrogant and obnoxious father did. Sadly all of our people who always have their hands out like the Liberals. Hopefully one term of the Libs will be enough, but much depends on who the Conservatives pick for the next party leader.

Hockey...... I just saw the prices for tickets at the closest city to me with an NHL team. I wouldn't pay that much to see the second coming of you know who, never mind subject myself to the nutty traffic and drunken morons in the stands. I am afraid I lean towards Grizzly Adams view of it.

I'm from the USA I never voted for Obama or any other democrat and played in the NFL, ( I admit it was nearly 40 years ago ). I say fuck Obama and Canadian football!
With that said I feel some of the best big game hunting in NA is in western Canada.

2th Doc.......... what's your point? You didn't vote for Obama, I didn't vote for Turdeau, but we still have them.

Your fellow country men shouldn't point fingers and not expect replies. NFL...... yup, I get all warm and fuzzy when I watch the ridiculous pandemonium that is the Super Bowl. Wink

Put Obama in one goal and Trudeau in the other, without pads. Let Chara and Johnny Boychuk practise their slap shots. To thise of you that think that the athletes are overpaid...just think how much they pay in taxes and thus reduce the tax liability of the rest of us. Not sure about Ca, but in USA the people in that income bracket pay about 60% of all taxes.

40 years ago I signed a 2yr contract with the Philadelphia Eagles with no incentives, half my team mates would not talk to me cause they were jealous! Today the league minimum is 7x what I got. Anyone whom says players in the NFL are over paid is nuts.
