A good friend and myself are looking into heading in Canada for a guided mule deer bowhunt. Would like a guide that specializes in bowhunters. Spot and stalk, blind huntin. Prefer early season, bucks still in velvet. Have heard alot of good bucks in Alberta. Please chime in. Thanks.

There are lots of good outfitters in Alberta. You will want to watch for areas that have had bad winter kill in the last couple of years, such as the Peace River country. You could try checking with Ameri-Cana Expeditions. They are outfitters in Alberta and run a well known hunting consultant operation. Just query them on the internet to go to their website. ______________________________________________ The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who are bereft of that gift.

I can get you on the deer, but it will be horseback alpine hunting at 6000 feet plus. Expect 150 to 180 inch deer. Doug McMann www.skinnercreekhunts.com ph# 250-476-1288 Fax # 250-476-1288 PO Box 27 Tatlayoko Lake, BC Canada V0L 1W0 email skinnercreek@telus.net

Logan and Rod Hunter have an excellent Mule Deer and Whitetail operation. They are located in the Battle River Area of Alberta. I took a 192 Mule Deer with my Bow two years ago with Logan. A combo whitetail and Mule deer archery tag for a 10 day hunt is $4500. Call me if you want more information. Richard Norwood www.huntandgofish.com 619-253-6797
