Hi guys, Who in Alberta would you use for getting a hawk mounted? Lots of folks can do a deer head, but I haven't seen too many with birds (probably because I never paid attention). Frans

Frans there's a guy in Lethbridge I think who is spanish (I think) it's not much info to go on. I met him at the outdoorsmens show this spring and his birds were fantastic. Maybe you can track him down

Ben Khorshidnam [info@artoftaxidermy.com] is who you want to check out in Lethbridge. In talking with him over the winter and visiting his shop, I have decided he is the kind of taxidermist Jim Boland and Tony Cassar were 30 years ago - young, keen, with a young family (keen), still competing at international show for ribbons still earning his laurels, rather than resting on them. So, tired of the long wait and high price for top notch taxidermy, I have given Ben my bowkilled giraffe to do. Lots of great birds in his studio, I noticed. D

Ben does great work and is as honest as they come. He has done several mounts for members of my family and friends. I would not hesitate to recomend him.
