Well I am interested to hear how you guys are doing on your on-line orders with Cabela's.
In the past we always found the customers service staff for mail orders to be very good........... regardless of whether the items ordered were.............. but they were prompt and you received notices of what was happening with your order(s).

Well ever since Bass Pro bought them out, and perhaps that is just coincidental, but we have had nothing but grief. Three different orders and all three nothing but a screw up from start to finish.........amounts screwed up, items suddenly becoming unavailable when you have been told the item was being processed after several phone calls to find out what the hell was going on.

We ended up cancelling all three orders. Total frustration with questions not answered, misinformation again and again.

I doubt we will be using them for anything in the future. It was bad enough before with all the made in China crap, but now that customer service seems to have gone down the toilet, I am sure there are other companies that will be glad to take our money.

They've been crapola on mail order long before The Bass pro deal.

My last order with them was for a doz carbon arrows in 2015. 6 came from Edmonton with inserts, second 6 came from BC with no inserts. Called them up and explained the situation, they at first stated they didn't come with inserts, so I sent a pic of both boxes together that arrows came in showing that the inserts were included.
Then was sent inserts that were for different arrows that wouldn't work. Finally after about a month after the right inserts were sent.
I had other issues from the Canadian side over the years and that was the final straw. Never shopped with the CDN branch again.
I've always had good luck with the US mail order side with no problems.
