Hi folks

Any of you Canadians get Wild TV? I was just wondering if you have seen my TV advert I am running over there?

Did it come across OK??

Thanks and cheers
Matt Graham

Hi Matt
I've seen your add a couple of times and it looks really good. It deffinetly makes the big buffalo look exciting. I haven't seen the Jim Shockey hunting trip your reffering to but that is only a matter of time. All in all I would say it is one of the better adds on Wild TV
Take good care,
Dave

Hi Guys

Thanks so much for your comments. I had only seen a PC version of the advert and was wondering how it looked on the TV screen. The buffalo stalk shown in it was Shockeys son and tha was featured in a show a while back. Jim still has some other shows coming out with more of the hunts that he did with us - buffalo, banteng and New Caledonia rusa deer.

We dont get the show here and have to wait to see it on DVD!! Frowner

Cheers guy - thanks again and take care

Matt Graham

Hi. Belatedly, yep, I've seen it on Bell Express-Vu Satellite feed. Wasn't really paying a whole lot of attention though. Australia is a very long way by air. Give or take 24 hours flying time and Australia isn't exactly firearm friendly. Not that that is your fault, but it will create second thoughts about travelling to the other side of the world to hunt. Just a thought.
Mind you, Wild TV isn't available with every style of connection as far as I know. Lots and lots of re-runs over a week.
It's kind of amusing that they keep saying it's Canada's only hunting and fishing channel(it is) when it's primarily American programs.

Spelling and grammar count.

Guys, How popular is WildTV in Canada. Do you also get to see the American channels like Versus, outdoor channel etc? Thanks for the input.

I get Versus, but only cause I have FTA satellite (DishNet). Hopefully in the new year I can work out getting Bell to get WildTV...I will keep an eye open for the advert as I do pop by my BIL's every now and again and watch WildTV there. Versus is good, but could be better, need to air some predator hunting more often, and it would be better if they were predominantly hunting instead of Hockey/Hunting/MMA/Boxing/fight network type deal they run.

I have Bell and get Wild TV. I forget the add one price but it is worth it. Much much better than the nothing that is usually on for interesting programs. The bit about Matt's Australia hunting is very good .. it is a long long ways away .. but when the big bull buffalo stetches out his nose and walks at you .. who the hell cares if it took 5 damn flights to get there ... Smiler BOOM
