Have any of you ever heard of the magazine "Gun and Rod"? I'm looking or an article published shortly after World War 1 mentioning the .450 Newton.

it merged with an American publication decades ago. The publication was Fur, Fish, and Game.

I remember that magazine from the 1970s. I think it was also called Harding's magazine. It was unusual for two things...it focused largely on fur trapping and it had this really attractive artwork on the cover. I thought it was a fine piece of work but haven't seen one in ages here in the Mid-South. I've wondered what ever became of it and I could well imagine there being somewhat of a collector market for the older issues.
