I don't think these boneheads can plan that far ahead, but the seasons vary from zone to zone. I think the best dates for non resident zone would be the second or third week in Nov.The drawback to these dates is the weather can be on the cool side. Mark

10-4, Mark.

Our hunting would be in the Mistatim area of Sask. Trying to plan for next year and week 3 of the nonresident whitetail hunts, but am not sure if it is Thanksgiving week or not??

Would be interested to know where you got your info. The Fish cop we had lunch with on Sat. thought the last day would be Dec. 6.These guys finish paperwork after deer season, get court dates for after Christmas, then are off until mid Jan. They will be pissed for sure if there is a later season. This year non resident whitetail was from Sept 1 till Oct 31 (archery) and Oct. 31 till Dec.3 (rifle) Mistatim is in zone49 where no non-res. hunting was allowed this year but is close to zones 56 and 59. Good hunting in both zones. I worked as a guide in 56 for several seasons. Could be a late season is planned for 2006. Good hunting.Mark

Mark,

I am an idiot, I meant Nov 6, 2006 and then on.
Sorry for the confusion!

That's ok. I found it difficult to believe that these buffoons could plan that far ahead with such a big change. Unfortunatly Sask doesn't allow non resident hunting in the farmland where we live. I would gladly take a few folks from the south on a whitetail hunt. Chances are you will see lots of deer, deciding when to pull the trigger is the hard part. Good hunting,Mark
