I've heard some real horror stories about outfitters in Quebec and Ontario, was wondering if you guys had any first hand experience with a moose outfitter there? It looks like it would take a good while to draw a tag in the Lower 48, and AK and Western Canada are a little pricey. I've thought about Newfoundland, too- but from the hunts I saw there, it can be hit or miss with the size of the bulls (I'd rather not shoot a spike or similar bull). Let me know what you guys think! I heal fast and don't scar.

I cant give you a name of an outfitter(keep on forgetting) but most of the groups of hunters who shoot one year after year either win the draws and hunt in the reserves or hunt with outfitters around the Gaspe region. Many Quebecers hunt moose in Newfoundland where you can get a bear or caribou with your moose. In Quebec I believe you are allowed one moose to every 3 or 4 hunters(???)while you are allowed one moose per hunter in NFLD.
