Did this surface on this forum here at all? The Metis of Alberta have been granted similar "harvesting" rights as the First Nations, basically allowing them to hunt without license and without being restricted by tags, draws, etc. Apparently this Agreement was signed in the fall of 2004. I didn't hear of it till recently. Now I'm getting some e-mails SCI, and Hunting for Tomorrow, and I wonder why I didn't hear of it before.

I have heard of this travesty of justice and I am both disgusted and angry. I have witnessed, first hand, the depredations of these "hunters" on wildlife in Alberta and I am absolutely opposed to any special rights in Canada based on race, period.

This is only the beginning of the elimination of sports hunting and fishing in this country as it will all be given to the Indians and the Metis; this is NOT being done to advance "social justice", it is in order to buy them off so that corporate interests, often from foreign countries, can grab Canadian oil, natural gas, hydro-power and especially WATER, without much interference, wait and see!

This is the result of decades of liberal rot at the core of our country, it will take a miraculous awakening to stop this perversion.

A friend and I were just discussing two days ago about the natives and the gun registry.

It turns out the natives are 4% of Canada's population commiting almost 20% of Canada's murders, and they are exempt from the registry. Why were the guns necissary to register again?

Its strting to look like they only want to take guns from white people. The natives and immigrant gangs will all be armed and where does that leave us?

Not all of the "immigrants" are in gangs, there are plenty of native-born scumbag gangpukes here, as well. But, the gun registry was not intended to disarm them as that is impossible, in practical terms, it was/is intended to weaken the core Canadians who believe in our old-fashioned values, like equality.

The commie-pinko,faggot, draft-dodger, coward, Pierre Trudeau started this process in the '70s and it is part of his plan to destroy democratic Canada in order to create a neo-Stalinist state here in Canada. He openly admitted to his friend, Senator Leo Kolber, how much he admired the Russian, communist state and his plans are working, too.

The whole issue concerning Aboriginal "rights" is simply a smokescreen for what has/is really going on in Kanada; another indication is that "white" Canadians are forbidden by order of an East Indian immigrant, Nurjehan Mawhani, a Liberal appointee, to even apply for certain crucial public service jobs as were Aboriginal peoples. Institutionalized racism is the contemporary reality in Kanada, as Buffy St. Marie said, long ago....my country, 'tis of thy people, you're dying....

boilerroom,

That is a telling statistic. But, what really makes you shake your head is the reason First Nations people are exempt from the gun registry in the first place. They require firearms to practice subsistence and "ceremonial" hunting, but if they had to register their firearms many of them would be precluded from firearm ownership because of criminal records!! Knowing that wouldn't stop them from using firearms, the gov't decided to exempt them from registration. Roll Eyes

And I guess since most First Nations crime is "Native on Native", it isn't a concern?!??

Cheers,
Canuck
