I was curious if any of you may know this answer to a most serious question. I am going to save my toonies and loonies for funding my next project and figure about 13 loonies to the inch and $28 in toonies to the inch. In a stack. This is not a good way to store a lot of money over a long period of time, in a big stack! So my question is if I make a piggy bank between two wall studs how many $ to the foot do you get? If I make the slot too high I will have to wait too long for my new gun and if its too low then I have to fix a hole in the wall for nothing and risk the wife confiscating the whole works. Any guesses would be appreciated thanks.

Hm, well, you can fit 14 loonies in the standard 16" wall cavity and 13 toonies, so 13 X 14 X 12 for loonies, and 14 X 13 X 12 X 2 for toonies. that should be $2184 for loonies in your foot of wall, and $4368 for toonies in your foot of wall. Or so. - dan

My technique for this type of projects is to ask the wife for coffe money and then think healthy by not buying coffe. Big Grin adds up real quick.
