I spoke to Clay at Prophet River Firearms. They would assist in the importing of the firearms. He told me that he charges $250.00 for the first firarm plus 5% GST and 3 1/2% duty as well as $25.00 shipping to do all the paperwork for the importing into Canada. If you purchase more than one firearm the price is a little lower. I understand that they have a FFL dealer in Bellingham Washington that they ship the rifles to to start the process.

Called Ellwood Epps in Orillia to see if they could facilitate the importing/ordering direct from Zastava. They told me that their importer/broker does not handle left hand rifles from Zastava. So they can't be of any help.

i import rifles on a regular basis any 1 charging 250$ to import a rifle is fucking ripping you off larg and right in front of your face any 1 paying that price is is a fool if you want to bring that gun/action into the country and do it cheaper here is the entire process for you in a few simple steps that cost a hole shit load less step 1 =obtain pre-register form and fill out make ,model cert numbers's ect.1-800-731-4000 option 1 for english option 2 the press 5 to talk to some one tell them you wan to import a rilfe and you need the preregister form faxed or mailed to you step 2 mail or fax back to addess on form. step three call buffalo gun center and for 50$ they will bring it to the boarder for you pay your duty then go home....or have the gun shiped to your nearest port of entry with a customs office step 4....your finished go shooting basicly just have a the gun shipped to a air port or boader crossing you can make it to clear it with customs wich you should already have preregistered the firearm/action pay your duty and go home... iv done it both ways at a boarder and shiiping to a airport. heck ill do it for half his asking price the damn price that captin dick head is charging 250 is a fuckin insult... typical northern gun shops i lived in fort mac and edmonton and im currently moving to fort nelson bc id rather drive to the american boader 1's a year and stock up and 20-30 pounds of gun powdr and primers and bullets than pay a northern triple inflated price when theres no need and i mean none
