Ended up in Glaslyn with Northway Outfitters after a brief, and unproductive, stop around the Poundmaker reserve near the Battlefords.

We were covered up in deer.

Here is my 161" shot 22 Nov.

Northway is a first class outfit.

Regards,
Jim

Nice deer. I have hunted in that area quite a bit in years past. It is a great place to hunt. There seems to be a fair numberof good bucks around there if your work hard enough.

D'arcy,
Yes it did a great job. The first two days were warm (38ËšF) and I never put the jacket on. Third day the bottom dropped out (-2ËšF), it was snowing, and very windy. The Ravenware really showed it's merits then.

We were on deer constantly. The morning I shot this guy I watched two spikes, two 3x3, two 4x4, and about 15 does from dawn until this guy walked in at 11:30.

It was a great time and all the deer helped keep me pumped and warm.

Regards,
Jim
