My wife and \i have been near Consort since last Monday.
Wife took a doe yesterday and I took asmall buck tonight.
We had some lessons about sighting in rifles when you arrive at hunting areas.
After 6 missed shots with our 243 and 7 mm mag we changed to a ruger 270 and bushnell scope. Two shots and two deer.. We have had a great time.. no antler trophys but good eating. Which is much better anyway.. Plus I got to spend a week hunting with my wife...
