To visit the video go to ---> http://www.canadafreepress.com/2005/cover050905.htm by Judi McLeod, Canadafreepress.com Monday, May 9, 2005 You’ll never see this on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). That’s because it’s incredible, shot-on-site film footage that Prime Minister Paul Martin doesn’t want you to see. Canadafreepress.com editors decided to post it here so that you can judge for yourself. It’s never-seen-before film footage taking you back to January 3, 2005 when Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and his entourage made an official visit to tsunami-ravaged Sir Lanka. Included in the Jan. 3 entourage were Martin’s wife, Sheila, PMO staff, Jack Layton, leader of Canada’s fourth party, the New Democrat Party, RCMP, and a handful of Canadian journalists, including the CBC. The film footage was shot by award-winning Canadian documentary journalist, Garth Pritchard, who was on the scene prior to Martin’s visit at the invitation of Canada’s mercy mission DART team. You will hear how an RCMP officer tried to relieve Pritchard of his camera. Pritchard’s voice can easily be picked up when he tells the officer that, "This is not Canada, this is Sri Lanka." In order to make the film Internet friendly, Pritchard worked to edit it down from its original 58 minutes. It starts with the moment the Prime Minister’s helicopter lands in Kalumai, and coincides with the very moment that bereaved Sir Lankans are waiting for Padre Captain J.B. Hardwick to say a few words over their lost loved ones, laid out in 13,000 freshly-dug graves. See for yourself how the film footage shows the padre being pushed aside and how overzealous members of the Martin entourage physically knock a Sri Lankan mourner to the ground–without apology. Ostensibly, the Prime Minister’s official visit to tsunami-ravaged Sri Lanka was about Canadian compassion. See and hear for yourself how he shills the purified water of Zenon Environmental Inc., an Oakville-based company of which his lifetime mentor Maurice Strong is a board member. See and hear some of the film highlights, including Padre Hardwick trying to do the job he was asked to do: namely honouring the dead. Padre Hardwick calls for a Moment of Silence. Fifteen seconds into the Moment of Silence, Prime Minister Martin ends it, saying, "Let’s go." Swigging from a bottle of Zenon purified water, he says repeatedly, "C’est excellent!" Martin passes the bottle to wife, Sheila, who swigs from it, pronouncing distinctly, "Better than at home! NDP leader Jack Layton, who, when he’s in Canada, promotes himself to the public as a strong Prime Minister opponent, beams at the PM as the proudest of close personal friends. If you listen, you can clearly hear Layton ask as photographers line up the Zenon photo-op: "Is that the water? Is that the water?" Mainstream Canadian compassion is understood globally. Average Canadians sent some $40-million to Sri Lanka--that has yet to arrive! Their prime minister disgraced the image of ‘The Compassionate Canadian’ in a single photo op. But even worse than that, Martin chose to shill for a Canadian-owned water company linked to his personal mentor in a Sri Lanka that was locked in heartbreaking grief. Not only Canadians would agree that Sri Lankans deserve so much better than that. _________________ The only problem with being Canadian, is the presence of Liberals Canadian Liberal Government= Elected Dictatorship!

Why would anyone be surprised at any of this? Behaviour of this sort is characteristic of Canada's self-styled "elite" as I have personally experienced on a number of occasions and the perfidy of slimey little "Diversity Jack" is typical of NDP leaders....Svend???? The problem here is democracy as we do not have a code of acceptable behaviour for our politicians as the antics of the little Chinawoman Clarkson and the late Trudeau both demonstrate. The solution to this and similar embarrassments is to constitutionally limit government to an absolute minimum.....like that will happen in a Canada where people have been conditioned to expect everything from government. Frankly, the entire apparatus of government, academia and the media in this country need serious reform, but, I ain't holding my breath!

I don't think being caught with a dead girl or a live boy will cause a turnover in Canadian politics. I hope I'm wrong though.

It really pisses me off that the media have chosen to ignore this stuff. The Canadian public are being censored, when it comes to anything that shows the Liberals in a bad light. Take a look at who owns/controls the media outlets in Canada, almost all of said owners are staunch Liberal Party supporters. In fact, the Conservative leaders, notably "Lyin' Brian", mentor to Ice-eyes Harper, deliberately vocalizes in extreme support of one group which contains members who own most of Canada's media...the inplication is pretty obvious. Who supports spending about $300,000,000 tax dollers on a "Museum of Human Rights", the main display in which features events that did not happen on Canadian soil; could it be the same guy/family who recently stated in major Canuck newspapers, that, due to the Balfour policies, Britain and Canada helped Nazi Germany???? But, WTF, historical distortion, untrue vilification of Canadian/British activities and selective censorship are very prevalent in contemporary Canada....look at CGN, as one example. The sad truth is that most Canucks have been so brainwashed since Trudeau that they don't care about situations like this....and that is why we are losing our country, our freedoms and our guns. Frankly, I am glad that I am nigh onto 59, I have seen Canada at it's best and now watch it "in extremis", the future looks much like an "Orwellian" nightmare.

Hello; I still choke everytime I hear the crap about how he is a self made multi-millionaire. Hell, he inherited Canada Steam Ship Lines from his old man. Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. I very seriously doubt that any media outlet will bother with this, due to the editorial biases of both owners and staff. It displays a venality that typifies Canadian politics and reflects negatively on our "diversity" loving leaders, this is a "no-no". The revelation about Maurice Strong does not surprise me, he is on about the same level of arrogance and ineffective "leadership" as David Suzuki, Stephen Lewis, Bob Rae and all the rest of the left-lib elite of this country; no bloody wonder we have problems!!!

Actually he bought CSL from Power Corp. The deal was set up by Maurice Strong who headed Power Corp at the time, and financed by Power Corp. Nice deal if you can get it. Martin was seen as an up and coming politician and such favours sure don't hurt a company. ******************************************** pssst America, your vulnerability is showing.

I didn't figure the media would use it when it was already available so I sent the link(original) to Chuck Cadman and Randy White. That just make a difference as those 2 don't seem to take shit from anyone. derf Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati
