Hunted the past four days with a couple of fine fellows from Norway. Here for their first taste of hunting Canada. We had an action packed four days with both guys shooting monster blackbear,
The first was taken spot and stalk the second with the dogs. In all we treed 6 bears saw many others including some grizzly. Enjoy the pictures.

BC is just crawling with bears like that and "Chilcotin" is located in one of the real "wilderness" areas we have here and it is gorgeous country, as well.

My buddy and I might well take a jaunt up there this coming autumn and do some fishing and maybe try to find a big Mulie or two as he is originally from Yurp and likes hunting that general region.

My two sons and I would love to go on a bear hunt in that area.
How can I get information that would help me strategize about a 2012 hunt for the 3 of us.

Looks like the 2nd hunter has a Shultz & Larsen rifle. You don't see them often over here in the states, but they're a great controlled feed action and rifle. Good to see the brand is alive and well.

Great bears! Smiler

The Schultz & Larsen rifles have become quite popular here in Norway, but first of all the new M97 model. Got one myself. It's a push feed, but still works like a dream Smiler
