Hi Guys, This buck is estimated to be 41 points over the typical world record. Look at the mass of the antlers! The sad story is that the guy shot it 1/2 hour after legal time in Canada and had to forfeit the deer to Ontario Dept. Of Natural Resources. I don't know the guy, but feel bad for him. At least he has the picture.......right! Good shooting and good hunting Collani Gian Marchet Colani - the most famous mountain chamois hunter in the European Alps...

I do not feel sorry for him at all, I feel sorry for the waist of the fine animal. He broke the law of the land and the law of fair play. There are many times when leaving my stand after dark, that I see lots of deer. Any "hunter???" without principles can shoot deer at night.

Incredible mass, but that buck wouldn't score even close to Milo Hansons's buck. 41 points over the world record? We have plenty of those in Canada, but we call them elk...

In case anyone is interested, the fellow straddling the deer in the above picture is a Natural Resource Officer, not the dimwit fuck who poached the deer!

the picture does need improvement. even a rank amatuer knows to tuck the tongue back in. alot of magazines would not publish a photo like that. even if it was legal. great mass though. he should have let it walk then hunted him after that. he was too anxious. cold zero

This whitetail grosses 223+ and nets 199-7/8 green typical. 12" of non-typical and an unmatched 7" tine kept this deer from world record consideration. There is a copy of the scoresheet floating around on other forums. 41 inches above Milo's deer? 250+ typical? Somebody was smoking some good weed to come up with that one!
