Flying up to Whitehorse around the middle of august, will be doing some fishing on little Atlin and some on the way to Dawson. Also thinking heading over to Haines. Is there any salmon running at this time of the year? Thanks all!

Little Atlin will be for pike, By twin lakes on the road to Dawson there are two small lakes on the right hand side going north. The first one does not have fish thr second is stocked with rainbow. Mostly pike in the lakes n the Klondike highway as far as I know. Fox Lk I have never caught a fish in it. Little Fox has small lake trout. Little Braeburn would be worth a try. As for Haines. August is usually good for halibut, and I think sokeye should be in the rivers but check online for runs at alaska fish and game Have a great trip.. Watson Lake
