My son and I recently had a grand time in Banff and Jasper Parks. It really was a terrific trip. We spent Canada Day in Jasper and it was much fun listening to the local band playing in the park.

It was cheapest for us to buy annual National Park passes (good in all Canadian N.P.s), so we ended up with two park passes that expire in June 2007. We won't be using them again in the next year; so, if one of you Canadians could use them please let me know and I'll mail them out to you.

Thanks so much for your sharing your natural resources and hospitality with my son and me.

Forrest

We'll certainly be back. Here's a little contest for any of you familiar with some of the backcountry areas of the Parks; where was this picture taken?

Hint: We saw caribou here.

It was one of the prettiest areas I've seen - just spectacular.

ForrestB,

I'm glad you had fun! No idea where this is though, I need to get out more! ;-)

We had some company a few weeks back who left us a annual pass. I think the only year I actually bought one, was the first year I lived here. After that, we always get the pass from visitors who swung by.
