Going up there for business and wondering if I should add a few days to the end of the trip to hunt or fish? What is good there at that time of year? Hunting: Exercising dominion over creation at 2800 fps.

I dunno about fish near Vancouver, but I have enjoyed fishing off Salt Spring Island, between Vancouver and Vancouver Island. There's water EVERYWHERE....and there MUST be hot fishing close by. Do a search on the net. While you're in Vancouver, go to Granville Island (part of Vancouver) and check out the market. Wonderful sights and smells....and breads and coffees .....and smoked fish(es) .....and other innumerable nibblies plus places to sit outside at tables with what you've bought from the market to eat.

Lots ot do within 4 hours of Vancouver, good fishing and hunting. Check out the www.goabc.org site and look for a hunt close to Vancouver. There are lots of outfitters within 4 hrs of driving. I hope that helps. If you have a week to add on give me call and we can arrange some kind of hunt, I am 1 1/2 hrs flight away. Good luck Doug Doug McMann www.skinnercreekhunts.com ph# 250-476-1288 Fax # 250-476-1288 PO Box 27 Tatlayoko Lake, BC Canada V0L 1W0 email skinnercreek@telus.net
