Sometime ago I was told I can fill out a certain form for Canada that would allow me to travel year after year with my hunting rifle into Canada and not have to deal with paperwork every trip. Does anyone know what that form is? Thanks, Dirk "An individual with experience is never at the mercies of an individual with an argument"

What I think they mean is that you CAN obtain a Canadian Possession and Acquisition Licence and then register your gun(s) under that. This document must be renewed every five years thereafter and with it, you can buy guns here in Canada or bring in your REGISTERED gun(s) you own in the USA. I have never heard of any document that will allow a foreign national to bring guns into Canada on a permanent basis. I fully expect that, with Hussein in power there and the all-too real prospect of a socialist-liberal-traitor coalition "government" coming to power here, all possibliity of bringing ANY firearms into Canada will be a fond memory. Google the Canadian Firearms Center and call the number given to obtain more specific info. Hope this helps as our laws are complex and even the RCMP who enforce them oftimes do not understand them.....not an accident, IMHO.......

http://www.panda.com/canadaguns/ This is a great site to help Americans know what they need to do to bring guns into Canada legally. Dewey was correct on the PAL. Americans can get the PAL and then register there American guns under it in Canada and then bring them back and forth across the border with no charge. But you have to remember to get the proper documentation from the US side to get your guns back into the US.
