Going to pick one up at a dealer. Revieweers go on about it's the second coming.

Anyone has one? Any opinions?

Will,

I don't have the bodyguard 2.0, but since nobody's answered...

I do have a late model M&P 2.0 and I really like it. It's my favorite of my plastic guns (and I have Glocks and Sig's too). I shoot it in USPSA, Steel Challenge, Multi-gun matches. Reliable and accurate. I have a Sig P365 and I'd be interested in your take on the Bodyguard once you have a chance to evaluate it.

I'm frankly curious. The .380 is not my favorite caliber, but my significant other could very likely learn to shoot it reasonably well and I have had good luck with the M&P Shields in 9mm and .45 ACP. They fit my hands and they always run, in my experience.
I found the original Bodyguard pretty dreadful.

Bill, I agree with you on the 380, but I will say that although it used to be a fairly anemic round, there have been some enhancements in the later years improving its performance. That being said, although it is not my first choice, I am pretty comfortable with my Walther PPK.

Due to arthritis I had to get rid of my P365 as I couldn't reliably fill mags or operate slide, had a original LCP and am able to operate it fine. Had a PPKS, just for the cool factor but didn't fit my hand and slide drew blood every time on webbing between thumb and forefinger. Bought G4 2ND, best yet. I have seen lots of reviews for Body Guard 2.0. Honest outlaws review very good. Going to rent one and put through paces and if it lives up to expectations I will have a new EDC.

Picked mine up today. Took awhile to find one as I wanted one with no external safety. I was impressed from the get go. Smaller than my current EDC a G42. I took it to the range, I did not clean it. I fired several magazines of Blazer FMJ and Hornady critical defense 90 gr FTX. I wear a L size glove, not particularly big hands. Two handed shooting seemed to pull left, as most YouTube videos showed. Firing one handed dominant and reaction hand only out to 7 yards the rounds landed where aimed. At less than 4” high and less than 10 ounces I am duly impressed. The reason I went pocket sized .380 is arthritis, bought mag loader and filling mags not an issue. I ordered Kydex holster from small town Tennessee holsters that works great. The Desantis pocket holster for my G42 also fits Bodyguard 2.0.
All in all I’m quite happy with it. G42 back in the gun safe.
