I saw a fellow at the gun counter yesterday looking at a Taurus Judge revolver (410/45LC) who was just pissed that the model with a longer 3" chamber to handle the larger .410 shells was not available. He needs a few more buckshot? How dead can you get em?
That gun seems to be creating some talk.

Anybody have comments?

Tauras is supposed to have the 3" version out soon. It was supposed to have been this fall. I have one of the stainless 2-1/2" Judges. It is useful for what I bought it for. A close range snake gun and my tractor gun. I have several pastures for my horses. I bushhog the pastuers several times a year. I always see numerous wood rats when I'm bushogging. A pocket full of No. 9 shot works well. The judge is good for nothing at longer ranges. 45 LC bullets keyhole from mine at 25 yards. I have the short barrel model. The long barrel may do better at longer ranges.
Some buy them for a bedside gun and others for a truck gun. I'd rather keep one of my .40s for my truck gun. A 12 Gauge makes a hell of a bed side gun.
