| On my last post the photo of my 29 was deleted. Try again.... I am presently sighting it in using the adjustable front sight feature. Hope it works when I reach out there. For grips, I prefer Hogues.

| I like shooting long barrel revolvers but I don't like to carry them. |

| At a gun show this past weekend I noticed three or four 8 3/8" K22s for sale, with asking prices noticeably higher than 6" models in similar condition.
Probably it is a matter of supply and demand. The long barreled models weren't as handy to carry so never sold as well. Now there are fewer of them available to collectors or for those who just like the longer barrel.
Enthusiasts such as butchloc had the good sense to pick up these nice revolvers when they were more readily available. They get to enjoy the style they like, and as a bonus will likely find their revolvers continuing to increase in value faster than the shorter barreled models. |

| I only have a couple left. I still own a NIB 57 Nickel 8-3/8" and a 99% 8-3/8" Model 16. I had a match to the 57 no dash in blue but sold it earlier this year.
Also had a NIB 657 rollmarked Classic Hunter that I am kicking myself for selling... your photo with the two unfluted cylinder Smiths just reminded me! |
