Peter in our club is an avid shooter (kimber solo and Wilson compact 9mm, the $3000 one)

Anyway he's disassembling the wilson.
turn slide upside down.
slide barrel to the front. It gets stuck.

The link pin is wedged into the slide dust cover vertically.
Can't move barrel back into battery or forward.

You can see the link move slightly when you move the barrel back and forth about an 1/8" inch.
It's as if there is a cutout inside the slide but not enough for the link to drop.

I would have just whacked it back but not on someone else's $3k gun.

I should hear tonight or tomorrow what happened.

yes. alles gut.

and its not the older EDC it was the newer SF? pistol. The smith must have had some compressed air or just flushed out a piece of dirt from the lug side of the barrel
