Hi: Just got some of these bullets. .430dia hollow point Norma silver jackets. Anyone see these before? Any knowledge out there? Oh they are 236gr. Thank's Dan

They have a very thick jacket & expansion is minimal. Good penetration though.

Ditto, and I might add quite accurate. I acquired some in the mid 1970's and still have about 60, waiting for the right shooting opportunity!

By the way, try a magnet on the jacket!

I have killed quite a few deer with the 240 Norma SP out of a Ruger Deerstalker, and quite a bit of small game with them out of a Ruger Super Blackhawk and a 6.5" S&W Mod 29.

They killed good, never recovered one, and were very accurate.

As Fred stated they are not a soft bullet.
