I have one still in the plastic wrapping with all the goop Davidson's/Ruger slathered on them prior to shipment...

They are a beautiful piece, but quite frankly I don't like the shape of the Hogue grip. Although it is wood, it just is not aesthetically appealing.

And no; I wouldn't give a grand for one.

Would you say the finish is as good as the old Colt Python? I do not care fore the Hogue grips either.
