I will answer the Question myself ! I went today to pick up the Uberti new in box Russian 45 #1 was the top latch would not open !
#2 the hand would not ingage cylinder correctly ! I walked !!! will let you all know what next gun is like !

First gun had Benelli on barrel a junker !
I picked up second gun today, has 1 problem , the top latch is very hard to work , barrel has Stoeger stamped on it , I will correct the top latch !

I got mine from Navy Arms several years ago. Both worked flawlessly from Day One.

I sold them, I could not get used to the grip after growing up SAA.

I found another flaw ! the top portion is loose fron bottom frame I will take it apart and find out how many thousands it is and install a starret shim to remove any play !

If needed to knpw Th screws are right hand with blue locktite added , The shim I added is .004 to remove loose abrrel to frame after using gage blocks to make hinge areas parrell , they were frame .006 and barrel .005 at wide opening after making those areas the same I had .005 left in frame ! solid now shim is on port side ! the catch had a large burr , works fine now , Hand had bad burs which made cocking very rough .
