Picked up an S&W 67 for my wife for her birthday/Christmas present this week.

Being that she's new to shooting, I decided to try some of Speer's plastic cases propelling rubber bullets via LP primers to introduce her to guns and gun safety in the comfort of our own home. Well, here's her first target.

Granted only from about 15 feet, but shes doing really well with it and really enjoying it! Next step will be some 148gr HBWCs over 2.7gr of Bullseye and get her out to the range.

That's a very good start. I have a 67 double action only and it well but a cly full of 158 ljhps under 2 inch's at 25 yards.

Handy revolvers for sure

I was a little hesitant on the 67 at first, figuring a 66 or 686 would be more versatile. Got to reading a bit more about them and couldn't find a bad word about the 67, plus it fit my wife's hand REALLY well. I suppose that's just a reason to go get myself that model 69 or 629 I've been pining after for a while now.

I prefer .357s also because of the versatility also but I was offered the 67 at a good price.

I don't pass free market guns up at a good price.
