need some help, the double action on this gun is like trying to pull a semi, anybody got any suggestions on how to lighten the da trigger pull

GSVERY CAREFULLY.
The internals on the Mark III don't like polishing much. Dry fire it on snap caps, and, do something like this to weaken the springs a little:

DECMany years ago I had one with the same problem. It has a coil mainspring and I cut off 1 coil. If you're not careful you'll make it too light and may have light primer strikes. Go slowly and if need be you can shim it back up or replace the spring.
