Didn't want to post over the WTB thread.

I used to visit a shop on Warren st. (Zermos) about 2 block from City Hall in NYC. Pop bought his S&W 14 there in the 80's. I worked in the WTC (102fl) in late 80's also a few blocks from the store. One day I decided to buy/order a P7.

Got a call that it was in and left work at lunch time to pick it up. I already had my NYC paperwork. In the back of the store was a group of guys, pretty sure they were speaking Hebrew. I asked the sales man what was up, he said they were Mossad. Not sure what they were buying but they were regulars in the store.

Interesting experience though, wasn't it? Interesting things sometimes happen in gun stores. In the 60's I was in one + this 'customer', looking in the glass pistol case shouts out "THIS GUN IS STOLEN!" Well that stops everybody anytime in any gun shop but then this German guy was pointing at a Luger pistol + raving about how it had to be stolen as no German officer would ever give up his weapon, etc. I will always remember this; The store owner leans over the counter + says, "Listen, Fritz; I know this gun is not stolen because it's from my own collection. I got it off a Nazi bastard after I shot the son of a bitch."
