I am familiar with Hamilton Bowen but am not certain of any others. Work would be done on a Ruger Redhawk, including action/trigger work and shortening the barrel. Who else should be considered?

I am surprised that no one responded to this seemingly well put question. I am sure there are many well qualified men in this field. My personal experience is limited to Bowen and I have been more than satisfied with the quality of his work, and the service that stands behind it "When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." Try Dave Clements. He converted my old .357 Blackhawk to .44 Special. http://www.clementscustomguns.com/rugerrevolvers.html

One to consider would be John Gallagher..... his site xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.
